Michael Stefanovic has 23 years of hands on project management experience. He holds a degree in engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Further to his career as project manager, he has spent two years as a full time faculty member and five years as adult education instructor in project management, at Ryerson Polytechnic University. Currently, Michael conducts project management seminars through several Canadian and US universities, as well as for direct clients of Procept Associates Ltd in Canada and overseas.
Michael has managed a $68 million retrofit of the SunLife building in Montreal and a number of other real estate development projects. He has been Project Controls Manager with SNC on the $100 million Billiton tungsten ore refining plant and on the definition phase of a Liquefied Natural Gas peak shaving plant for Consumer Gas. He also performed various project management functions on a number of petrochemical, transportation, and pulp and paper projects in Canada. His overseas assignment was with Booz Allen & Hamilton as Senior Management Consultant.
As a Senior Consultant with Procept Associates, Michael continues to provide project management consulting services to clients in various industries, as well as to lead seminars in project management to diverse audiences, both in English and in French.
He has presented papers in project management at seminars and conferences. Michael is a Professional Engineer and has been designated a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
