Keith Farndale

Keith Farndale is President of Procept Associates Ltd, a firm providing project management (PM) consulting and training services since 1994. His typical consulting assignments are: assisting in incorporating "state-of-the-art" project management in the implementation of an ERP system, assisting in designing PM methodologies, developing guidelines templates for project management and control, facilitation sessions, auditing project management practices, auditing specific projects, and authoring "expert witness" reports for litigation in PM.
Keith and his team have developed more than 20 project management courses, from one to 10 days long, in a variety of industries, which are regularly presented at universities, for trade and professional associations, and directly to corporate customers such as IBM Canada, OPG, Bank of Montreal, and CIBC. All seminars and consulting assignments are consistent with the "body of knowledge" of the Project Management Institute (PMI). We are convinced that Keith's courses have prepared more people for PMI's Project Management Professional examination that any other in Canada.
He is Program Director of the Project Management Initiative at the Professional Development Centre of the University of Toronto. His own 6-day Comprehensive Project Management Seminar is the most popular course at the Centre. He also has developed a popular 10-day course for the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada. Keith's firm regularly presents project management courses at the Universities of Waterloo, Winnipeg, New Brunswick, and Lethbridge, at York University Academy of the Project Management, Saint Mary's University, Carleton University, Texas A&M, and at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He personally has presented PM courses to about 5,000 attendees in Canada, USA and overseas.
Keith holds degrees in engineering and business. His previous career was in the PM practice area in consulting engineering firms. He was President of the Southern Ontario Chapter of the PMI, receiving an Outstanding Contribution award. Keith is a member of IEEE and of the Ontario Society for Training and Development. He has been a member of the Project Management Forum of the Conference Board of Canada, and has been on the advisory board for Project World Canada. Keith is designated as a Project Management Professional and as a Professional Engineer.

Susan Connolly has been the Administration Officer at Procept Associates Ltd for 10 years.
After an 18 year background in manufacturing, she obtained a Certificate in Administration at the Academy for Learning in Toronto , just prior to joining us. She is the centre of knowledge about how we do business, handles accounts receivable and accounts payable, and is a active participant in our ISO 9001 registered process.

Nicole Conboy

Nicole Conboy is an ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Service Manager v2-3 certified and is a Senior IT Service Management Consultant and Trainer with Procept. She has provided IT Service Management consulting and training for over 13 years to a variety of North American and world-wide organizations. Nicole’s experience ranges from assessment to design to implementation and ongoing management of a variety of IT initiatives designed to meet the customer needs. She is a member of the board of directors for the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) Southern Alberta Branch and speaker, meeting and regularly promoting IT Service Management (ITIL) best practices.
Selected IT Service Management consulting achievements include: service management program strategic/tactical/operational planning; solutions for the improvement of a variety of Service Desks/Desk-side support functions; the design of a Software License Management solution; the assessment of IT Service Management Processes including Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management; the design and implementation of a Service Catalogue; the assessment and design of a Major Incident Process; and the implementation of a disaster recovery plan. All of Nicole’s projects significantly improved the quality of IT services delivered and fostered a better relationship with their internal and external customers.
Nicole has also successfully managed a variety of IT support functions including; Service Desk, 2nd level Desktop and Server support, Deployment services, IT Asset and Configuration Management, project management and consulting services. In an effort to reduce costs, improve quality and improve customer satisfaction, Nicole implemented best practices in processes, technology, measurements as well as continuous service improvement programs across her customer base, and exceeded service levels and obtained references on a consistent basis.
Nicole has been teaching ITIL courses for several years including Overviews, Foundations, Practitioner and ITIL Service Manager with examinations through the EXIN, ISEB and LCS certification boards with very high satisfaction ratings and exam results. She now teaches Procept’s ITIL courses in our public program through our University partners.
Nicole holds the EXIN ITIL Manager’s (Master’s) Certificate in IT Service Management v2-3, a BA (English), and college certificates in Human Resources Management and Computer Studies. She is a member of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) Canada, HelpDesk Institute (HDI). She was a reviewer of the ITIL v3 Service Operation book and the ITSMF book Implementing Metrics for Service Management and was quoted in the PC World Canada article titled “Help for the helpdesk”.

Darya Duma

Darya Duma is a Vice-President with Procept. She has been designing and leading training courses in Project Management theory and application for 10 years. She creates Project Management training for delivery by herself and others, designs PM methodologies for clients, prepares templates for implementation of PM software, and facilitates the implementation of PM practices. Darya has designed courses for Bruce Power LP, Public Works and Government Services Canada, Ontario Power Generation, National Energy Board and University of Toronto. She is one of our Microsoft Project instructor/consultants. She is Program Director for our 10-day Mechanical Contracting Project Management course offered through University of Waterloo. She is also an instructor in our regularly scheduled courses at University of Toronto and other universities.
Darya was a practising Project Manager for over 10 years, first in “hard” projects managing industrial elevator installations with a mechanical contractor, and then in “soft” projects developing national and international standards with CSA International. A few of the projects that she has managed include providing elevators for Hibernia GBS, Sudbury Neutrino Observatory, Ontario Hydro, Alberta Power, and Vancouver Port. More recently, with the Canadian Standards Association, she managed the development of codes and standards for subsequent implementation in provincial regulations, as well as the development of ISO standards for the elevator industry. She has extensive international experience with clients in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Darya is a representative in PMI’s Registered Education Provider Advisory Group, and on the Canadian Advisory Council for the upcoming ISO PM standard.
Darya holds a degree in Engineering Science from University of Western Ontario, as well as additional credentials in adult education design and facilitation. She is designated as a Professional Engineer, as a Project Management Professional, and as a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

She has assisted companies from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in strategic planning, business process re-design, project management, business and systems requirements gathering, quality management, and enterprise planning, creation & development.
Organizations she has worked for in North America, Europe and Africa include the Centre for Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa, BMW, Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc, SBR Global Inc, Sears Canada, Markel Insurance, and Perimeter Financial Corp.
Auxilia has exceptional problem solving and sound decision making capabilities. She is recognized by her associates for her ability to take a complex problem, break it into manageable components and facilitate multifunctional teams to develop and implement feasible solutions.

Max Locke, BSc, MA, MBA, PMP is a Vice-President with Procept. Max has 24 years of information systems experience in a variety of sectors including telecom, manufacturing, finance, transportation, and education. Max has more than a decade of experience in each of Project Management and Business Analysis. He holds a BSc, and MA, and MBA. Max is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute. Max is also ITIL certified in IT Service Management by the Examination Institute for Information Science (EXIN).
Max has experience as a project manager in a variety of high profile projects including some with international exposure and leading edge technology integration. He has also managed subprojects within multinational, multidisciplinary project teams. Projects have ranged from implementing new IT systems, through system upgrades and enhancement, to new product offerings to the business or consumer public.
Max has extensive experience in process methodology development and the creation and evaluation of requirements documentation and formal business cases. He has been the sole or lead Project Manager on a wide variety of projects ranging in budget from thousands of dollars into the millions and in duration from weeks to years. Max has led teams of internal resources and outside vendors spanning multiple organisations and sometimes multiple countries. Max’s specialties include procurement, vendor relations, contract negotiation, process improvement, and implementation of best practices frameworks.
Max has worked as a consultant for clients such as Dofasco, KPMG, and Nortel Networks and as an employee of leading corporations such as AT&T Canada and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Exposure to a wide range of corporate structures and business environments has brought experience that Max has been able to employ in new environments in the pursuit of a best practices approach to business analysis, project management, and IT service management.
Max was also an instructor for five years at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York before entering the private sector. Max’s re-entry to teaching with Procept has allowed him to pursue his passion for teaching while at the same time leveraging the benefits of his years of practical industry experience

Rohit Madan

Rohit Madan joined the growing team of Procept Associates after his MBA from the University of New Brunswick. He also holds a Bachelors degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering.
Rohit did his MBA work term at New Brunswick Power in Fredericton, doing process mapping, risk management and business case analysis. Prior to his MBA, Rohit interned with a manufacturing firm as a Quality Control Associate doing projects on process mapping, quality control & TPM, Statistical Process Control, and time & motion studies for re-engineering of processes.
He is responsible for the sales and marketing of training and consulting services for Procept’s Project Management, Business Analysis and IT Service Management.

Sola Oduko

Sola Oduko is a Vice-President and Director of African Operations with Procept. Sola (pronounced “Shola”) has 20 years experience in IT service management, business analysis, project management, strategy formulation and implementation, department management, risk analysis and management, business process redesign, business continuity and disaster recovery management, using various best practice frameworks, in several countries.
As Information Systems Manager with a subsidiary of Diageo UK, Sola managed a team of 25 people comprising four project managers and one IT operations manager, and he controlled a budget in excess of $4 million. He chaired and facilitated workshops, seminars and conferences; established project organizations and governance structures in all IT related projects and programs; assisted procurement and legal departments in the review, evaluation and negotiation of IT contracts.
He is responsible for the IT service management practices at Procept and at the Professional Development Centre of University of Toronto. He designs and instructs PM, and ITSM courses for delivery by himself and others, and he undertakes consulting assignments in maturity assessments and implementations.
Sola holds bachelor and master degrees in computer sciences, and a second master’s degree in business administration. He also holds the Information Technology Infrastructure Library Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management. He is a member of various professional associations including: International Institute of Business Analysts (where he is a committee member), IT Service Management Forum, Canadian Information Processing Society, British Computer Society/Engineering Council, UK, and Project Management Institute. Lanre Akinyemi has a diversed experience in the financial services and banking industry as well as financial consulting experience for automotive company suppliers. His diversed experience in financial services and banking include end to end knowledge of credit card processing, subject matter expert for finance related projects, operations and financial reporting audit, financial management and compliance reporting.
Lanre holds combined Bachelor in Accounting & Education and a Master degree in Accounting with specialization in General Management from Brock University Canada. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. He also holds the Project Management Institute PMP (PMP®) designation. He is a member of various professional associations including: The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of CPAs, The Information System Audit & Control Association (ISACA) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and the Project Management Institute. Elizabeth Barclay is a Senior Consultant with Procept Associates Ltd, a firm providing Project Management, Business Analysis and Information Technology (IT) Service Management consulting and training services.
Elizabeth joins Procept following 15 years of operational IT experience and 6 years of consulting and training in IT Service Management. She provided network, workstation, and server deployment, support and operations through the 1980’s and 1990’s before moving her focus to service management.
As a consultant in IT Service Management, using ITIL® and other best practice frameworks, she has provided a full range of service improvement consulting. This has included authoring business cases to ensure improvement activities are cost justified; executing process assessment, development, improvement and implementation projects; and integrating of processes and tools, including BMC Remedy, to provide governance to live IT operations. During many of her engagements Elizabeth provided the project management role, including reporting to senior and executive management.
Elizabeth has worked in Canada, the US and abroad with electricity and gas distribution utilities; federal, provincial and regional governments; and in various private sector organizations. She has had extensive experience with group facilitation and delivering professional education.
Elizabeth holds the IT Service Manager’s Certificate from the ISEB, also holds Practitioner certificates, and has been accredited in ITIL® Version 3. She is a member of the Canadian branch of the IT Service Management Forum.

Gboyega Aboderin is an Associate of Procept Associates Professional Services Limited. Gboyega has 14 years experience in Information technology with specific expertise from the year 2000 in IT Service Management; IT Project Management; Business Analysis; BMC Remedy Service Management tool implementation; IT Consultancy; IT performance assessment and implementation, risk analysis and management, business process redesign utilising various best practice frameworks.
Gboyega is BMC Remedy Service Management tool Consultant. His achievements in BMC Remedy Service Management tool include the: establishment of Four Service Desk Functions, and the design and implementation of Incident and Problem Management Processes; the design and implementation of Service Level Management process, and the process maturity audit of company’s Service Level Management Process deliverables leading to the implementation of BMC Remedy Service Level Management software. Gboyega was also instrumental in the design, improvement and implementation of Change Management Processes using BMC Remedy Service Management tool. These significantly improved the productivity of the IT staff and fostered better relationship with their internal and external customers.

Damola Oladeji joined the growing team of Procept Associates in April 2007. He holds a Bachelors degree in sociology from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Damola also has two years training experience in information technology aiming at improving human capital development across all sectors

Gbenga Osipitan is a Managing Consultant with Procept Nigeria. With over 20 years of experience in ICT, Gbenga has extensive hands-on experience in several areas of ICT which includes IT infrastructure planning, implementation, management and operations, IT strategy formulation and implementation, project Management, IT service management, design and implementation of ERP and financial systems, business process engineering, business continuity and disaster recovery management.
Gbenga has acted as project manager and project sponsor in many projects involving multinational, multidisciplinary project teams. Some of the projects managed include new IT application systems, system upgrades and systems enhancement delivering substantial value to various businesses. He has also managed subprojects within business transformation projects.
Gbenga has extensive experience in process methodology development and the creation and evaluation of requirements documentation and formal business cases. He has led teams of internal resources and outside vendors spanning multiple organizations and multiple countries. He has also participated in development of IT strategy and operating framework for a regional IT organization.
Gbenga teaches project management courses, in line with PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge and Business Analysis courses in line with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) body of knowledge.

Deji Oyedele

Deji Oyedele holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State, Nigeria.
Prior to joining Procept, he served as a trainee accountant in an insurance firm and and as a sales executive in an IT service firm.
Deji is responsible for maintaining financial records and preparing the financial statements for Procept Associates in Nigeria.
Shittu O. Shittu is a Senior Consultant with Procept Associates, as well as being an IT Project Manager with British Airways. Shittu has over 8 years experience in the management and implementation of business and IT projects and data centre operations.
As Information Technology Manager with the West Africa Business unit of British Airways, Shittu managed a range of small to large strategic business projects. In addition, he assisted the purchasing and customer service organisations in the requirements gathering, analysis and documentation; evaluation of software solutions, and negotiations of IT contracts.
Selected project management achievements include: the development, implementation and release of an Online Bank Payment System for the airline in heavy cash-based markets of West Africa; setting up of airport systems for airline new routes across Europe and Africa business area; concept, project planning and implementation of 3 new commercial offices, from architectural input to complete network of systems for business transactions.
He developed business cases and facilitated various workshops and presentations on these projects to middle and senior management of the company.
As an Operations Customer Support Specialist with SITA/Equant Joint Venture (now separately SITA and Orange Business Services), Shittu was responsible for providing reactive and proactive network control, technical and customer support, and liaising with national Postal, Telegraph and Telecommunications (PTT) and third-party telecommunications suppliers.
Shittu continues to teach project management courses, aligned to the PMI’s Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge, with excellent feedback from participants.
Shittu holds bachelor degree in computer science and engineering, and a certificate in leadership development from the Wits Business School in South Africa. He is a designated Project Management Professional (PMP) with PMI, as well as, holding the ISEB ITIL Service Management British Racing green badge. He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA, London chapter), and Professional Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS).
