PAMELA HOLLINGTON
Pamela Hollington is an experienced professional with a strong knowledge of business processes and management issues, and a proven background in systems definition and implementation. She has twenty years of experience in the financial, manufacturing, distribution and retail industries and successful consulting assignments in the public and private sectors. Pamela’s background includes work in many aspects of Information Technology and Business Strategy development and implementation.
With a strong practical and academic background in human resource management and organizational design, Pamela brings proven success in assisting organizations with the management of change in the business environment. Pamela gained her consulting experience with DMR Group Inc., Ernst & Young, the Software Productivity Centre and Rebound Consulting Ltd. Her focus on consulting assignments is in the areas of IS and business performance improvement including process analysis and redesign, business and systems strategy development and implementation, and systems improvement efforts. Her proven business analysis experience, combined with her project management skills, allow her to help organizations initiate projects and keep those projects focused and on-track, always relating back to the business goals and objectives of the initiative.
Pamela has worked in the areas of Information Technology (systems design and analysis; user requirements definition; JAD facilitation, etc.); Business Systems Implementation (inventory management and distribution; order management; accounting and financial systems; point of sale; and others); and Business Management (business process reengineering and continuous process improvement efforts; budget preparation and management; disaster recovery planning and execution; quality systems (Tl9000 and SEI CMM); organizational restructuring; and sales analysis development and follow-up).
Pamela holds a Master of Business Administration. She is an active member of the Project Management Institute, and leads the IS Specific Interest Group (ISSIG) meetings for the Canadian West Coast Chapter. She is a member of the Canadian Information Processing Society and holds the Information Systems Professional designation. An accomplished speaker, she presents sessions to user groups and professional organizations.
Pamela is an occasional instructor of Procept’s Business Analysis courses.
