Project Health Audits

The project manager is responsible to make sure that the project is progressing appropriately against schedule, time and scope. Audits are helpful for an objective  opinion on  project status. Procept’s experienced auditors can point out potential problems and suggest corrective actions giving the project manager the opportunity for proactive action before project performance degrades. Early detection of problems in projects can help keep costs under control and project on schedule.

Procept assesses a project in terms of all the project management knowledge areas or in a specific area that may be causing concern. If the organization uses a custom methodology, projects will be evaluated in terms of that methodology with focus on specific knowledge areas. The results are summarized in a written report which highlights all findings.  The final report is presented to the project sponsor, project team and other stakeholders, to allow explanation and discussion. Results are interpreted in relation to the specifics of the project, and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions are made.
