Procept Vice-President of Consulting, has joined the Canadian Advisory Council to the ISO Technical Committee for the development of an international project management standard. Darya Duma PEng PMP, our Vice-President of Consulting, has joined the Canadian Advisory Council to the ISO Technical Committee for the development of an international project management standard. She continues to be a |
member of the Advisory Group for the Registered Education Provider program of Project Management Institute, and a member of the Ontario Council of Construction Users. Darya has also recently attained Prince2 Practitioner certification. Prince 2 is a methodology for managing projects which came from the UK, and Procept is pleased to be able to provide expanded consulting capability in this area. | |

Keith Farndale, President of Procept, recently visited Atlantic Canada. In Saint John, he presented at a PMI-NB lunchtime meeting about the discipline of Project Portfolio Management (PPM), as described in “The Standard for Portfolio Management” published by PMI. PEI - “A Whirlwind Tour of Project Management” to the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists. Keith Farndale, President of Procept, recently visited Prince Edward Island where he presented “A Whirlwind Tour of Project Management” to the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists. Procept radio commercials now running in Atlantic Canada Procept’s Atlantic Canada division is running a radio campaign for the upcoming project management course, Project Management Essentials, which will be held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on October 10 – 12, 2007. The challenge with the commercial was to have some fun and be creative, while at the same time, ensure that factual information was relayed. Petley said “Our vision for PMI-PEI involves the participation of people from many different sectors and from all areas of the province.
